hey fam!! turn the sound on to hear the latest on this skin/life journey I’ve been on. #DifferinPartner Y’all know I shared a few months back that I’d be trying out @differinus’s new acne-fighting prescription strength retinoid. Well it’s been about 12 weeks, plus it’s Acne Awareness Month so I thought I’d give you a little update on how things are going! I know the kind of damage that broken-out skin can have on your self-esteem, but owning it and being confident in the skin you’re in is what’s most important. I wanted to test an acne-fighting product in my routine to see if it would make a difference. Differin has the first FDA-approved acne-treating retinoid available over the counter. Anything worth it is worth waiting for, and great skin is no different. I patiently tested this product out for 12 weeks & I’m super happy I pushed through and can say I highly recommend trying out Differin’s new retinoid if you’re looking for an affordable solution that takes time.. llasheen I had the worst skin condition ever after breastfeeding my baby if I put a picture of before and after you may never believe it. What worked perfectly with me Avene products and salicylic acid soap. The last time I went to pick something from body shop I was checking the tea tree line and the vendor said this works better with acne prone skin and yours is not. I was like this is the best compliment i have ever heard in my life

m8razo Does it help lighten old acne scars? Last summer my skin decided there would be no clear days, and I’ve never had acne so at age 31, it was miserable months of covering up blemishes and trying not to pop them.. thanks for always sharing and always being so real

ipagan_diaz My prego hormones are all over the place, but currently 36 weeks so once baby arrives I want to try it!! Do you recommend trying it for 12 weeks with OR w/o using makeup?? If makeup is ok, any particular cost effective brands you suggest or swear by??

tylana_finn Don’t worry about the pimples or skin too much. you are beautiful even with them and God certainly does not care for the beauty from the outside, but the heart, and you have a beautiful godly heart.

katietombley I’ve found limiting dairy and sugar in my diet helps clear my skin up SO MUCH. Did you find certain foods make your skin act up? (Also, my hormones cause break outs)
