bubbaandlindy This is the album that solidified and catapulted my love for the Beach Boys and all things Brian Wilson !!!! And Beach Boys song was in the soundtrack to American Graffiti. 1974 finished 8th grade. Then went to my 2nd live concert at age 15 in 1975 at Anaheim Stadium to see Beach Boys and Chicago. It was the Brian is back tour! I was in front and show up on the Good Vibrations documentary of that 1975 concert! Love ❤️ you Brian!!!

m0wen @adamkushner "Love You" is their last album that was worth a damn and it didn't sell as well as "15 Big Ones". "Holland" sold modestly (at least compared to "Endless Summer") but it saw the group progressing in a new direction and recovering from their misfortune in the late 60s. All I'm saying is they could have tried reintroducing the world to the new Beach Boys instead of artistically back-pedaling.

adamkushner Not sure I agree. I mean yeah, they followed it up with 15 Big Ones which was not great but they followed that up with The Beach Boys Love You, one of the most creative things they ever did. The problem was the public wasn’t paying attention to their creativity.

bigmikes_rollerrama My parents got divorced when I was 5 years old (1982). My uncle gave me Endless Summer on cassette along with a brand new Walkman. This record was and still is my therapist. Thank you @brianwilsonlive for talking me off the ledge for nearly 40 years.
