Today The Countess of Wessex visited the Royal Norfolk Show, the annual showcase of the county’s farming, food and countryside.

As #norfolkshow President this year, Her Royal Highness met children from Sparhawk Infant and Nursery school – 1 of 6 schools taking part in the ‘Learn about livestock’ project with the Food and Farming Discovery Trust.

The Countess has a keen interest in the world of agriculture and is currently Patron of the Association of Show and Agricultural Organisations (ASAO), the body representing the UK’s many agricultural, horticultural, equine and countryside events. 📷 Tim Rooke / Shutterstock
