Honestly, you all see me travel the world and party but this year I really wanted to do something that means a lot to me. I blocked off the week of my birthday to take the time to help and give back. It all started when @hadyouatsalaam posted about the crisis in Sudan and I had to raise awareness. I signed the petition, sent it to everyone I knew, and made a donation because that was something I couldn’t physically help with. That inspired me to look for ways to be hands on in my community. I was excited to have the opportunity to partner with @aaarbear and @hollywoodfoodco to provide over a hundred and seventy-five hot meals, toiletries, and necessities to those in need. I decided for the actual day of my birthday to gather my friends to pack over a hundred lunches and toiletries to serve the community at Skid Row. But all of this couldn’t have happened without the help of my friends. I have to give the biggest thank you to my friends who took the time out of their busy schedules to join me in giving back. Instead of another dinner or a night at the club you guys helped setting the appointments, prepping the food, buying supplies, and helping distribute them and that means the world to me!
