“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s okay. The journey changes you; it should change you. It leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”

This quote comes from the celebrity chef and world traveler Anthony Bourdain. Bourdain worked for years as a professional chef before embarking upon his literary and television careers. The mind races when one considers how many miles he must have traveled, as well as the number of kitchens he visited.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Among those professionals who call the commercial kitchen home, there is a particular affection for knives. Knives are the highly-personal tools of a chef’s trade, moving from kitchen to kitchen, and from dish to dish.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With those aficionados of cutting-edge cutlery in mind, we'd like to remind you that knives of all shape and sort are prohibited in your carry-on luggage. If you do plan to take a set of knives (or a single blade) on your culinary travels, make sure they are SAFELY wrapped and placed in your checked luggage.

@meghan_marvinny - fellow mom here, traveled for the first time last month 😬
The TSA website says that formula, breast milk and juice are allowed but I'm not sure that would apply to specifically bringing water for the mixing formula... Can you mix it ahead of time or does it have a limited shelf life? (haven't used it before). My guess is that they'd say you have to buy water on the other side 🤷🏼♀️ Tweet them AskTSA or ask on Facebook - they're actually very responsive. 😊

@cherryt74 if you’re out of the US it is no longer TSA. TSA is apart of the AMERICAN government, any other form of airport security outside the US are mainly private contractors if not their own governments form of “tsa”.

@emmaf2003 not gonna lie, I asked this same question a while back. They told me yes! I love the TSA and the fact they allow the perfect onboard snackage. ??
