Did you know @Nespresso are supporting 450 small hold farmers in Zimbabwe to revive our coffee industry. Production was at 15,000 tons in the late 80s and declined to fewer than 500 tons in 2016.
Nespresso is investing $10 million over the next 5 years to revive coffee production in regions where it has been lost or forgotten, reconnecting consumers with the world’s rarest coffees and encouraging rural development.
The Nespresso TAMUKA mu Zimbabwe coffee launched in 18 countries in May, bringing Zimbabwean coffee back onto the international stage.
