carscene_nw @ktmarc390 car went off on a bumpy but relatively straight stretch of road, the car flipped a number of times and landed in a field by the stage. From what I’ve heard on the news and references to HANS devices he might have suffered a neck or head injury. Nothing here is confirmed from what I know though. It was really just an extremely unfortunate loss of life. The organizers take every precaution between marshaling and requirements for safety equipment and an investigation is underway currently.
