Changpa nomads, Ladakh 2018. // looking forward to sharing some of these images from last fall now that I'm able. This kind of travel is some of my favorite...seeing a place for the first time is a gift. // Next week I'll be in Mexico City for the first time and am looking forward to having my mind blown open again. If you have any insider tips, let me know 😏

Had the pleasure of going to Mexico for the first time last year and we loved it! Definitely recommend that you go to #Chapultepec, #mercadodesanjuan for fresh produce and exotic meals and obviously the #catedralmetropolitana. Also, if you have the time, there’s a little resort town called #tepoztlan which is called “a place of magic” beautiful place! Not very far...about 1 hour and 30 minutes by car but worth the trip. I have a few photos on my IG if you want to take a look. Cheers!

Great to see you posting again! Mexico City is incredible, try to catch something at the Cineteca. And if you can, visit Teotihuacán, first thing in the morning, before everyone else gets there. And if it all feels overwhelming, remember there are hammocks at the Chapultepec park, where you can relax, enjoy the breeze under a tree, and eat some delicious fruit with chile y limón. Hope you have a great time!

Such a great big world out there! I’ve had so much fun becoming a vicarious traveler thru the gracious ventures of National Geographic. Everyday I learn something new. Thank you, Cory! I’m heading to Google to research Ladakh. ... Enjoy Mexico City. I’ll be traveling and discovering, vicariously, to yet another city of wonder. ??

It is not an insider tip but I loved the hiking trip around Nevado de Toluca, indeed a mountain, a wonderful landscape there. You can do it as a day trip from MC or organize a longer stay there. When I was there, 8 years ago, we were the only small group there. A good contrast to the city.

@coryrichards I have lived for the past 5 years in Mexico City and have a detailed list of things to see, do, and experience. If you find it useful I would be happy to share it! Hope you enjoy my chaotically enchanting City.
