dennismathis396 The WSL tries (nails it most times) their best but it seems at times someone(head judge, commissioner?) gets it in their head “this is the spot.” Trying to move the first event back to the snapper side waisted the best day of peak conditions at dbah. That final was held in below average dbah but it could have been held in really decent debah-oh well we learnt. Nope. Yesterday I could have made the call from my couch thousands of miles away. Falling tide( sucking the energy out of the swell) a dying swell and a semi closeout right equals garbage. It was so clearly the wrong call I wonder if the person who made it surfs? If you don’t know by now here- if you see a set fire at first light on a short period left over next day swell- wait a second. Add a dropping energy sucking tide plus a semi closeout and the answer is? Check another spot

boardjock42 @keko1174 ratings makes sense but at the other comps there have been plenty of times the womens ran second. I also understand that they couldn't have fully anticipated those conditions but if the forecast was telling them they were going to be there anyway they should've pulled the trigger at first light to make the move down the beach. Especially since they keep saying they want the best surfers in the best conditions possible.

yeahbruu @edutartari goldcoast and the super bank are world class but @wsl push the dates back and always miss the cyclone swell and by the time the idiots set up camp all the sand has been pushed away.. literally 1 week after they ran the Comp this year snapper got its sand bank and was all time @wsl are just muppets who couldn’t time a contest if their life depended on it

keko1174 @boardjock42 ratings, I suppose. Showcasing both together makes the women's comp have more viewers and more sponsorship money. In the WSL's defense, I don't think they could've anticipated having this kind of problem in Rio of all places. That said, the left sucks compared to Barrinha, no doubt.
