I thought my body had suffered through enough injuries (3 shoulder surgeries, 2 foot surgeries, stress fractures in my lumbar spine, and bulging discs in my back, to name a few). But over the last few months, i haven’t been able to shake the feeling that there was more for me to accomplish in the pool. Some unfinished business. My first olympics was an awesome experience, but i know i did not compete to my full potential. 6 weeks ago, after my most recent foot surgery, i decided to move back to Texas and start training again (sorry @ body lol). If it doesn’t work out, well at least i know i tried and I can retire with no regrets. But I am so excited to see what this next year brings me.
