@emily_rey.nolds Not necessarily. Not if the distributor has no interest in keeping the show on Netflix. And since the show aired on a Disney-owned network, and is owned by Warner, who are both starting their own services, it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s one of them who simply refuses to sell Netflix a new license. Both of them have stated that they are starting to pull their shows/movies off of Netflix.

I think the original pretty little liars is way better than the perfectionists... I just kinda feel like their doing the samething as the original series... I mean if they were gonna do that why not use the original characters... Some of you may like it... I just think it’s a repeat of the original series with different characters... I only watch the perfectionists because I like Mona and Alison???

@emily_rey.nolds It made sense for Warner to allow Netflix to buy the license for one more year, since their own streaming service wouldn’t be ready for official release until 2020 anyway. With PLL, the license expires in late July and Warner probably don’t see any reason to sell a short 6 month license (or so) to Netflix, and Netflix probably don’t see a reason to buy such a short license either.

@emily_rey.nolds Sure, they could offer a billion dollars. But they’re obviously not gonna offer more than they think it’s worth, and if Warner doesn’t want to sell for that price, it would be stupid of Netflix to offer even more. They are in business to make money after all.

@emily_rey.nolds That’s the problem with Netflix and other streaming services as well, sooner or later they get taken off because of licenses and stuff. At this rate, it’s not gonna be long until you need like 20 different services in order to be able to watch everything.

@04_charlotte We don’t know if there will be a season 2. The original cast is welcome to guest star if they want, but it’s far from certain that all of them are gonna have time for it. They have other stuff going on in their careers as well.
