Photo by @MartinEdstrom | In early morning, nuns walk the streets of Nyaung-U in Burma. They're out for the monastic morning ritual called 'pindapata' (meaning alms) where they collect food from members of the community. Like the Buddhist monks, the nuns traditionally shave their heads, but always wear pink robes rather than the orange ones worn by their male counterparts. #myanmar #burma
