If you consider in Leviticus the deaths of Nadav & Evihu both were consumed by Gods wrath in an inferno of flames for using incorrect kindling to light the Sacrificial alter inside the tabernacle. Sounds mythical? In my Maori culture a missing dog found barking in a neighbors stomach was the cause for a civil war which led to my Maori tribes' migration to Aotearoa New Zealand. Whether you believe these ancient tales to be all true or indicative of broader occurrences, its subjective & makes for good debate but I think they are shortened stories dramatized to retain readershiip or listeners through oral tradition, over the test of time. I'm investigating now the story of a Greek Priestess named Io who defied Zeus & Hera & (mythological version) was turned into a white cow & chased by a gadfly across the Bosphorus to ancient Turkey. Coincidentally history tells of Ionian people with same timeline & path, travelling also through to Egypt & India. In Egypt Io was renamed Isis & worshipped in the ancient temple of Helionopoli (old Egypt/Greek word) also began the worship of Ra the Sun God. The kicker is that the Maori name for Supreme Being is Io & for the sun is Ra. There is not one reference or article found in Google search linking these two words Io & Ra with Maori culture & that of ancient Ionian & Egypt. Its a version of history that would disturb many modem perspectives such as "the origin of species" & challenge the constructs of modern religions. Please if you are reading this far, read up on Io who defied Zeus who's wife Hera set a gadfly upon Io, transformed to white cow, whom swam off across the Bosphorus. Then compare the timeline of this story with the Ionian migration to Turkey, Egypt & India. I propose the existence of the words Io & Ra in Maori language show that this migration continued to Polynesia & beyond. Modern Historians are either missing these language links or hiding them to keep history as is.」6月21日 18時35分 - manubennett
