I’ve been trying to raise good, American kids, but today I said, “maison, let’s have a lunch date. We can have whatever you want.” She said, “Well, we had ice cream last night, and I don’t want a burger and I don’t want French fries... let’s have kale salad with parmigiana and balsamic.” So disappointing. (Btw, I’m eating pizza, to keep a balance in the universe.)
