We took a ferry to the majestic #WaihekeIsland. Winter down here means the ice cream shops were closed but the playgrounds were open. Wherever we travel, the kids want to visit zoos, beaches and playgrounds. And find ice cream or gelato. 💙

jayjayreaver Sounds about right. Mine always ask if there is a gift shop lol. We love natural parks and they always have them. Needless to say we're have an abundance of hoodies, coffee mugs and coins from everywhere we go... but I love it too. ?

jaimehelaine What a shame the gelato shop was shut. They have another store near the Auckland side of the ferry. Waiheke is an amazing place, I grew up there, you'll have to go there in Summer sometime?
