Mazzy’s New Blue Hair: Before and After 😱💙😱💙😱 She loves it. I’m getting used to it. Mike hates it. You can read all about how she convinced me, how it looked like I slaughtered a Smurf in my bathroom and why I would never attempt this at home again at the link in my bio 😬 But really, none of that matters because Mazzy is beyond happy, has acted like an absolute angel ever since and cannot stop thanking me. I think I earned some of those very elusive “cool mom points.” And, it’s just hair, right? Actually, that’s not exactly true. To Mazzy, it is not just hair. It is her choosing to express herself in an unconventional way and me giving her permission to do so. There is a very obvious surge of confidence in my daughter that I get to feel partially responsible for, not to mention, a mother daughter bonding experience that we will both remember for the rest of our lives.
