First night home without you. Without your little tip tip tips running around the floor. Without your bundled up fox body on our pillows, your little exhausted body laid out on my laundry. I won’t hear your snoars, the distinct inhale you’d make when dreaming. I won’t wake up to the sound of you cramming on your dew. The mornings will be hard, no more mornings with Lip. I won’t get to wake up to your loyally by my side, butt to my face so you can watch the door. Our morning routine, which I documented often, is no more. But I’ll think about it, I’ll remember it. You loved going out for your morning poop then hustling home for your breakfast. I loved giving you breakfast. I loved making sure you knew that was your food, special for you. I’m rambling now. Today is the first day home and of the rest of my life without you. I love you so much.
