My Father died 2 years ago. When he was given 6 weeks to live it was like a signal to Hurry Up and clear up our shit. I got a chance to say EVERYTHING that I needed to cleanse. When he finally passed, we were on Peaceful, Loving Terms. DON’T WAIT... tomorrow isn’t promised.

morganthelove Though I know where you are coming from @willsmith ❤️. This post is directed at people who may have solvable relationships with their fathers, therefore this is beautiful encouragement. However, because you have a high platform, it might be more fair to also acknowledge the fact that some fathers are severely abusive. I hear you, when it is their time to go, it would be perhaps devestating regardless of how bad the relationship my have been. But, it just might not be possible for there to be resolution or even an opportunity to make amends. Some fathers behave in evil ways, not just horrible, but actually evil that can scar a child. I'm someone that chooses to forigive and love regardless, but not everyone has the capacity to be like that - and that's okay. @willsmith

apryl_nichole_ I've struggled with this as well!! On so many levels. My step dad raised me and he will always be the one I think of as Dad. But trying hard all my life to have a relationship with my biological has been hard. Thanks for sharing. Your such a inspiration.
