Father’s Day was always a different kind of celebration for me having been raised with two mothers whom were lovers. My father was a father 6 times over before I even entered his world. He was always there tho with kindness, just busy on his own path in life. And for me , with a tiny acquiring heart , I felt full and balanced from having two tenders that seemingly expressed both a masculine and feminine form individually. Edward, my father , was always circling near by. I knew I needed him back in my life when I was about 16. Felt ready to jump back into that narrative with a relatively clean and open heart. He never held a bad or foul place in my mind, just one that was less defined and endorsed through real connection. But I become really hungry for that in my teenage years and gathered the courage to reach out ( he had reached out before but I had never find the right foot to enter with him ) and all he had to do was answer the phone and I fell in love with him. We became instant friends and slowly fellow mirrors and finally father and daughter in our own damn right. And my the stories this man has to tell. He inspires such bold truth out of me , such acceptance of transformation , as he has been so many different men in his life. But oh the man I get to embrace today. The gentle showmen, the fussy cook , the retired man taking money for dressing as Santa clause, the young hustler at heart. I love him. I’m happy our journey together and apart has been so damn rewarding.」6月17日 5時36分 - jenamalone
