jensideout #24yearsago... June 13th, my birthday. I was turning 13. We just moved to a small town for my dads job which happened to be next door to a Hallmark shop and just on the other side was a music store where I bought my very first CD #jaggedlittlepill with the money that my dads friend/coworker gave me to specifically use at Hallmark. She was angry with me, but I didn't care. I had that entire album memorized. I could sing it a capella style in order to this day. It got me through that awful, lonely summer and through my teens. ?❤️

That year was the first where I stopped playing with dolls and started listening music, so thank you so much for have accompanied my passage from childhood to adolescence; I have a bittersweet memory of that years, but your music remain truly essential to me, and I consider myself lucky for this, so thank you again ?

linnoresv I remember walking into a record store in Bay Ridge, BK and asking if they had this cd yet. The guy at the counter had no idea what I was talking about! I remember laughing and warning him “oh, you will”. ?I loved Jagged Little Pill bc is was fkng perfect.
