I feel that in my heart as a fact. As a woman, I know that my rights are also in the hands of government, much like immigrants, and everyone in the LGBTQ+ community. Just one small example - in 30 states its perfectly legal for LGBTQ+ people to be fired, refused housing or denied services simply because of their gender identity. We have a Right to be exactly who we are!!! And proud of it!!!! We have come so far, looking back and it being the 50 year anniversary of the Stonewall riots, but we have a long way to go and will constantly have to protect the work and progress that has been made. the fight is far from over, but My Hope is far from gone. 🌼💪🌼 This PRIDE month, I celebrated the @Saks x @StonewallGives partnership in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Inn Uprising with a special performance.
