If you’re wondering why I have changed my profile photo to blue, it is in support of those in #Sudan who have lost their lives. Over a hundred Sudanese have been killed by the military’s deadly crackdown on a sit-in protest, some whose bodies were dumped into the Nile River. It’s a shame that when the victims are African or black or Muslim, their plight falls on deaf ears. Many of the victims share my last name, some share my faith, but above all they are human. Praying for mercy for the victims. Praying for tranquility for their families. Praying for change. Hopeful we each use our platforms to shed light 🤲🏽 Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un 🇸🇩

ricky_tan_aka_chan TY for sharing this post. I've been seeing ppl changing their profile pics but no one is explaining/willingnto do so which really defeats the purpose if you ask me. I think I briefly read about it on Google News. So sad they barely reported this. ?

saveyourselfone @chackz0 There is no compulsion in religion. Verily, the Right Path has become distinct from the wrong path. Whoever disbelieves in (false gods) and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break.

saveyourselfone @chackz0 I am only a man like you. It has been inspired to me that your (God) is One (God i.e. Allah). So whoever hopes for the Meeting with his Lord, let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Lord.

saveyourselfone @eldageenie How can you disbelieve in Allah? Seeing that you were dead and He gave you life. Then He will give you death, then again will bring you to life (on the Day of Resurrection) and then unto Him you will return.

hmaidin @ibtihajmuhammad Why are so many Muslim bloggers , pick and choose a popular cause and So silent on Morsi death and not even vocalise their Dua for him ( quoting Yasir Qadhi) . ?
