babyspice420 @nour_aboulmagd_ additionally we must acknowledge that while israeli occupation did bring about hamas rule and radicalism, that it is still a reality. palestinian civilians are often used as shields, children are encouraged to throw stones on the front lines of violent protests, and some even try to get their children shot by the IDF for propaganda. at the same time, the IDF is an incredibly corrupt organization that has committed multiple human rights abuses and displacement under the israeli government. the IDF is mandatory so many soldiers are just teenagers who want to go home; that does not diminish the IDF’s violence.

They witness the violence and injustice right before their eyes and do not react or help those in need. No one in the world is 100% innocent. Not you. Not me. babyspice420 @nour_aboulmagd_ most people do not move to israel to terrorize palestinians, but to escape terror from their home countries. many mizrahi jews fled middle eastern countries, sephardic jews and ethiopian jews fled north african and asian countries, and ashkenazi jews fled european and western countries. because of rife and dangerous antisemitism. while we are talking about the dangers of israel existing we must also keep in mind the dangers of it not existing. this is just nuance

babyspice420 @nour_aboulmagd_ i call myself a zionist because i know the cost of not having a jewish state to the jewish people. i call myself pro palestine because i know the cost that the jewish state has taken on the palestinians. i can acknowledge that israel is necessary to save jewish lives while also acknowledge that a dramatic change is needed in government and policy

babyspice420 @nour_aboulmagd_ there are many protests in Israel against the government and policy. there are also many protests in Gaza against Hamas rule and such. on both sides there are innocent civilians who just want to live safely as well as power hungry violent corrupt people.
