ayfade Jeff, what can we collaborate on to empower women and persons with disabilities internationally? It’s seems this group has been forgotten. Other philanthropic organizations are focusing on eradicating malaria, immunizations, technology, very good, very lofty. Kudos. Would you be available to grant me an audience to hear about the two areas I mentioned? I came on your Mom’s post particular to say this. Why? She’s a woman. She overcame obstacles. Very inspiring. We can give others this opportunity as well. I am very passionate about helping individuals with disabilities, and empowering people. There might be Amazon future engineers among them, but you won’t know, unless we develop programs and services to assist them and tap into their skills, abilities and interests. I say this for a fact because I was a former administrator of a State VR program, I am a vocational rehabilitation counselor by training, and have worked in public human services programs for more than two decades now. I look into Amazon jobs, to work on inclusion and diversity, EEO, workforce development, they never called me for interview. Wow. Can’t count how many resumes I’ve sent. All the same, we can still help others outside Amazon. I am looking to replicate some programs here as models in Africa. Yes, Jeff, let’s start in Africa, there’s a big need. How do we get to have that first conversation? I look forward to it. Thanks

emilybrontegilmour This warms my heart. I was a teen mom so I can relate. I was raised poor but now I'm doing ok. I work as a caseworker for local government and my son works in IT.
