My anxiety and social awareness usually keep me from doing this but I decided why not...time to do what I fear (shoutout @travisjensen for pushing me to do it). I was walking across the street when he saw me looking at something to capture with my lens. He asks me “Looking for Jimi Hendrix’ grandmother’s house?” I said no but he was insistent that I check it out. So I followed. Jeff proceeded to give me the rundown of the area and what transpired there. Jeff was cordial, nice, informative and generally a nice dude (except for moment where he got too comfortable with how he told me about black people that were in Hogan’s Alley. I had to check him quick. He apologized and we kept it pushing). He didn’t talk to me about his life. He said that’s a longer story then the tour. I said ok. After the quick tour, I asked Jeff if I could take his pic. This is what I got. Gave him some money for some food and we parted ways. He said “Find me next time. I’ll tell ya”.
