So much wisdom and jewels you bestowed upon me... “success is a simple formula hardwork + determination + opportunity = success. Reach for the stars and fail at the moon. Stay a student. If want to make it in this industry as a person of color you can’t just be an actor or a writer or a producer you have to be a force of nature. Failure only happens when you quit trying. Good is only good enough for those that can’t be great. Maximize your potential. Don’t be afraid to fail. Everything happens for a reason. And countless other lessons about the industry and even more lessons in the most important industry... LIFE. I look at ILC and i think of all of us that benefited from your wisdom, your genius, your belief in all of us to reach our fullest potential.
