#repost @deontaylor Few months ago - I competed a film entitled BLACK AND BLUE!! Going into the film , as always - As a film maker - I wanted to do something new ! Something Different ! This script which follows a Black Female cop in New Orleans who’s framed for murder - truly spoke to me ! The film deals with Black vs Blue - Racism and so many more hot button topics.. Simply put you will be glued to the screen!! Today , I had the first chance to watch the film with a audience !! So many emotions ! So many moments of covering your eyes ! So many moments of sheer excitement! But one of the biggest moments today was watching the performance of @タイリース・ギブソン and @naomieharris opposite each other -OMG!!! Sometimes you feel it- while on set .. but you just don’t know until you get in the edit bay !! But today !! Watching each frame of this film - and watching @タイリース・ギブソン melt into this character was nothing short of phenomenal! On the other side of the spectrum @naomieharris simply brilliant in every way ! her work in Moonlight(Oscar Nominated) and James Bond has often been seen as Epic ! But watching her today in this film - representing strong independent black women was beyond words!! The film stuck with me so much today, I simply wanted to tell @タイリース・ギブソン and @naomieharris and the amazing cast!!! THANK YOU !!! Everyone out there buckle up !!
