Here’s why: This pic got an astounding 138k likes and over 700 comments when we posted it last which really took us by surprise since only around 2% of 1.8M fans are regularly active on our page (active engagement). Some of this is due to algorithms meaning if you don’t ever like or comment, IG will stop delivering much of our content on your newsfeed. I’ve tested this myself with purposely being very active on some accounts and inactive on others and sure enough, the accounts I hit like on or commented on showed almost every post & the accounts I didn’t like or comment in their posts stopped showing up! This is the new Facebook & Instagram! This is why I get so many DMs here and on Facebook with concerned fans asking if Venus is ok and why we haven’t posted in so long when in actuality we post several times a week.....but they aren’t receiving it! Some people even think we blocked them which is unfortunate all because of an algorithm deciding who gets to see which posts on the accounts YOU chose to follow! The other part is likely inactive/abandoned accounts and bots that we have no way to find and remove. We want to see how many real people are still here and still want to see our content so please like and comment with your favorite emoji if you’re not a bot. We are making some changes to give you the type of content you want because we love & appreciate you!
