Since I played two pianos at the GRAMMYS this year people have been coming up to me asking if it was as easy as it looked……. Hell naaaah! 🤯🤯This was one of the MOST challenging performances of my life! and at some points I was like girl 👏🏽 what 👏🏽 did 👏🏽 you 👏🏽 get 👏🏽 yourself 👏🏽 into 🤣🤣🤣
It almost didn’t happen!! Especially when I was 2 days away and it was still NOT coming together!! But with some INTENSE practice good ole desperation and encouragement from my band, my team, my love, and MYSELF — this special moment came to life! Shout out to Hazel Scott, the inspiration behind this moment I’ve always wanted to recreate!! And shout out to YOU for feeling me!!!✨✨✨
