This 9.5-foot, 800-pound marble slab makes for big impact. It also made for a big installation conundrum for our designer Maggie. As she tells the tale, she had 3 options:
1. Cut the slab in half and have a seam run down the middle.
2. Crane the slab up the building and through the window.
3. Hoist it up on top of the elevator.
