This was my first full day off in over a month. It’s been a grind getting everything up and running at the @cedar.coast field station, but all of the smiling faces and words of gratitude make everything feel worth while. Realizing my dreams of an ecological field station has been more work than I ever could have imagined. Maybe that’s a good thing— I might never have started had I known, and I sure am glad I started. Here’s to chasing our dreams, fighting for what we believe in, and taking some downtime to celebrate the little victories in life
