Back when I was pregnant, I had no idea about cloth diapering until I met Renee Powers [the cloth diaper queen] over at @earthbabyboutique and I’m so glad she showed us! We love using them for lots of reasons, but here are a just a few to hopefully inspire some of you to consider switching from disposables: 1. COST: Disposable diapers will set you back at least $2,000-$3,000 before your child is potty trained, depending on the brand. Whereas twenty of the most expensive cloth diapers will set you back less than $400. 🤑 2. ENVIRONMENT: In the USA alone, parents use an estimated 27.4 billion disposable diapers each year. That’s around 3.4 million tons of diapers that end up in landfills each year. 😢 3. HEALTH: Disposable diapers contain nasty chemicals such as Sodium Polyacrylate and Dioxin. 🤮 4.
