Reynolds comments are antiquated racial slurs that should be as bygone as Colonialism itself. As New Zealanders we must stand united against racist rhetoric, albeit metaphors or snipes. These may once have been considered funny in PAKEHA ONLY pubs but has no place whatsoever in modern New Zealand politics. Appalled to have just attended the Memorial for the Battle Of Crete, honoring the graves of our fallen veterans, promoted New Zealand diplomacy, especially in regards to the efforts toward racial equality, only to hear of this undermining headline eminating from our shores. Shame on you Reynold McPherson for undermining Tania's whakapapa & the fine Maori women & gentlemen of Te Arawa who have offered & done so much for so little.Tania's leadership offers much hope to the fellow generation surrounding her & the popular voice of Maori & Pakeha alike.
