#MemorialDay: As torrential rain and strong wind hit Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, a Sentinel continued watch over the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

Despite the severe #weather, the soldier, part of The Old Guard, continued with his task as part of “Flags In,” the annual operation carried out before Memorial Day weekend to plant more than 245,000 US flags at the graves of Arlington National Cemetery.
