But what if instead of “being the best”, you make “being the best learner” your main objective? Be the best learner out there. Within a certain amount of time, I think you’ll find yourself standing where you want to be. Meanwhile: 1. This mentality keeps you process oriented, making the journey so much more enjoyable. 2. You just have to get 1% better every day, and it’s a success. Some days you’ll improve by more, other days less. Either way, you’re moving forward. 3. It prevents you from halting growth when you’re “already good enough”. Many professionals reach a time in their career when they stop getting better because they think they have nothing left to learn. This ignorance is their downfall. 4.
