A child should NEVER have to go hungry! As a child, I was faced with some challenging issues but I never went hungry and I'm thankful for that. When basic needs are not properly met, even the simplest of tasks can become difficult. Also, that's why we have state assistance programs. However, I work a 40 hour job, my husband is disabled. I literally make enough to cover bills, that's it. I applied, and was only approved for $24 in food stamps a month!while just up the road from me, my brother works for cash, he and his girlfriend don't report his pay, which is more than what I make, and they get damn near $1000 in food stamps on top of $300 in cash assistance. So in my opinion, it about honesty. If your honest, you don't get shit. If you lie, you're basically taken care of.

joris.laforce In Belgium they sell the same red noses, "rode neuzen dag" or "red nose day". Here it is used to help kids with mental issues mostly. Love this idea and I'm glad seeing you guys support this is America! Where was this when I was a kid 😅
