When I was 9 I won a Harvest Festival competition, the local paper published a photo of ‘Louise Patland, school winner’ and I was THRILLED, despite the typo, haha! Grandma Pentland cut it out and framed it. Granny Adams bought 10 copies for preservation, it was a big day. 🥳 . 25 years later and I’m on the cover of the most beautiful magazine, devoted to mental health and positivity, during #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek, talking about my experiences of domestic abuse, bereavement and moving past them to a very happy life- which ANYONE can do. I’m not special, if I can find joy, so can you- you deserve it.❤️ . I’m incredibly thankful to the @happiful_magazine team for producing such a gorgeous magazine and @gemmacalvertwrites for the sensational interview and for allowing me to be a part of it this month.
