Shedding this groove lately for a tune by guitar extraordinaire and very rhythmically un-challenged @chrisfeener | a particularly difficult pattern for me in that it forces the left foot to lead in certain parts of the triplet. Typically with these types of grooves, I’ll end up kinda cheating and alter the right foot to lead by doubling up on it. But in this case, it wasn’t really possible, it just has to alternate. Give it a try, def opens up endless possibilities. 😊 now I gotta learn the rest of the tune🥴
~side note *don’t bury the beater whenever possible! I know I am here but it’s hard not to with these precise, tricky rhythms.
