I LOVE making that spontaneous decision to go explore the city before or after the gig. which is why this sweepstakes is so exciting - read on for a chance to win beautiful new luggage! . a couple years ago I was wrapping up a tour in Europe when I decided I wasn't quite ready to head home. at the last minute, i booked a ticket to Italy on a whim to attend a women's art retreat in a small Italian village. I slept about 45 minutes after the last show in Berlin (swipe for pic), and hopped a tiny plane to Italy by myself the next morning. . honestly? i was kind of terrified. traveling alone internationally wasn't something i had done many times, but i was already all the way across the world and I kept feeling pulled to go. the trip turned out to be one of my favorite travel experiences of all time. i met some AMAZING creative women - one of whom actually gifted me the beautiful dress in this first pic. . this trip was such a standout to me because it really made me realize how much opportunity there is to see the world even when we're busy or when we're working.
