I typically avoid political discussions, but I can not ignore what is happening because it is unConstitutional, and women’s rights and health are in jeopardy. Silence will not save us. We must speak up, speak out, and act to protect our bodies and our rights. My body belongs to me, it is my own. I have every right to do with my body as I please, as do you with yours. To say otherwise is nothing short of oppressive. Dictating how a person uses their body and controls their body is how oppressors take away your power, your voice, and your life. I support women's rights to decide what to do with their own bodies. Our bodies should not be up for political debate!! I am not a democrat, I am not a republican; 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧. A women deserves to be able to keep her body safe, private, and healthy; without that, all other rights are meaningless. And no woman should be prevented from exercising any of her human rights or fundamental freedoms on a basis of equality with men. Laws that deny access to safe medical care, treatment and the right-to-choose, whatever their stated objectives, have the discriminatory purpose of both denigrating and undermining women's capacity to make responsible decisions about their bodies and their lives. Anyone trying to dictate what a women can and cannot do with her body is 𝘜𝘕𝘈𝘊𝘊𝘌𝘗𝘛𝘈𝘉𝘓𝘌. Our bodies are not a battlefield, nor should they ever be. My body is 𝘕𝘖𝘛 anyone else's to to define, to rule over or to dictate.
