Spent a free day roaming this artsy, musical city, buying lotsa local art at @afflecks.palace (ironic, as I’ve been *living* in Affleck’s palace since 2002). Since I’m in the city that birthed #factoryrecords, everywhere I go, I’ve been looking for #NewOrder stuff. I found a patch, a vintage #JoyDivision shirt, and a print detailing the history of Factory Records. But perhaps what I’ll remember most about my 3 days of bliss in the oasis of #mcr is the night before in #brum when I was shooting this video of @ralphgarman impersonating Al Pacino singing Queen... and nearly broke my neck falling off the stage riser. I sustained no damage and went right back to work (after a l’il good ol’ fashioned American overstatement). The shows have been a blast, with only the #edinburgh show at @usherhall tonight and the #london show on Wednesday left to enjoy.
