Every time we finish a space the older one next to it looks a little dingier, so we’ve added a few extra projects to our list. One we tackled yesterday was a brand new stair runner. I swear by Dash & Albert rugs (the indoor/outdoor type) for high traffic areas because they’re the only thing that’s been able to stand up to three pets that tend to get mud and litter stuck to everything. But after 5 years of tromping, our old runner needed a little rehaul. So we picked a new @annieselke runner (I love the soft ombré in this pattern) and decided to go FULL width with the rug this time. It feels so cushy and lush and counteracts all the freaky old wooden stair vibes that look nice in pictures but feel a little rough in person.
