mystery.fish @enjoy________ I totally agree. I had to explain to my boyfriend more than once that the band is not to blame. It was the poor management of the venue staff. I totally understand the weather situation, that’s fair, that happens and it’s out of anyone’s control. Everything beyond the weather was handled poorly though. But the venue is to blame. The fact that MGMT even made a point to do SOMETHING for their fans anyway was a really beautiful gesture and I feel that they’re almost entirely blameless in this situation. They did whatever they could to perform at least something. The venue just screwed over a lot of people.

But I think it was a big miss communication with the band and the venue.. weather was terrible we know that, and we still went knowing that it was going to be soaking wet, we didn’t care at all! But there wasn’t clear moves from the venue and the band never said something during the catastrophe :(..

enjoy________ @eugene_drake yea man it was just all hectic. But I'm sure the venue just didn't wanna announce it either and risk getting fan's excited bomb rushing the place and most of them getting denied in such horrible weather. We all lost our souls last night D:

enjoy________ @mystery.fish it just wasn't meant to be. But you're right. It's beautiful that MGMT still did something for the few fans. I wish I was there but I won't hold it against them. I just hope they tour again.
