1 million species are under threat of extinction because of humans, a U.N. report finds. Humans are having an "unprecedented" impact on biodiversity, putting nearly 25 percent of mammals, more than 40 percent of amphibian species, nearly 33 percent of sharks and 25 percent of plant groups at risk.
