Which turned out to be so much more. I Downsized and got rid of storage rooms full of stuff. Was never a big pack rat or too sentimental about “things” but I still had acquired “STUFF”. I can not tell you how cathartic it was to unload so much. With the “stuff” I unloaded old energy and old ideas. I decided I would keep only things I TRULY loved. I had two rules- 1- must be useful in daily life or 2- must bring joy, true joy. Not just for the moment joy like a new shoe or something. So I share with you a corner in my kitchen of JOY- Mr Frankie Beans, my beloved golden retriever who passed, sitting in snow for the first time, one of the first glass cake covers I was given for my baking creations, a shell from the nearby beach, a carafe that I love to make fresh lemonade in in the summer and a wooden tree from my love from Denmark.
