Soooo as we get older it gets harder and harder to keep ourselves slim and trim. This past week I hit my highest weight of my life at 157lbs. I was officially 25 pounds heavier than my Deal or No Deal model weight. Now let me be clear- I was pretty thin on that show- I had to be standing next to those extremely fit and beautiful ladies. But as the years went on- that number on the scale kept creeping up. I’m not working out as intensely as I use to plus there’s this whole “Getting Older” thing where your hormones change and slow down your metabolism AND I never sleep so weight loss is damn near impossible (and I’m always snacking to stay alert during my morning show)! Well I finally had enough of my jeans hurting my waist when I zipped them in the morning and not being able to wear my cute clothes. So this week I decided this would be the week to stop complaining about myself and to start getting some consistency. And it worked!! 6 pounds in less than a week GONE just from taking baby steps. All I did is go for 30 minute runs, cut alcohol and pasta AND get proper sleep a couple times this week. 140 is the goal (so then I can go back to enjoying ice cream, pasta, brown stew chicken and rice!) ok guys and gals- let’s get it and work on our most important asset- our body! Get some sleep and Happy training! 🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️P.S. these weigh ins happens on Wednesday and Sunday! So I lost it in 4 days! #GetSweaty
