For years we wanted to do a Berrics public skatepark. But wanting and doing are two different things as I’m sure you all know. Funding for these things, at least with my expertise, isn’t the easiest thing in the world. But after many meetings with the city, and plenty of opposition from people who make a point to show up to those meetings to squash any kind of fun young people want to have, we were finally able to build one. Now, years later, seeing @ルーイ・ロペス do these kinds of tricks at a park I designed is truly a dream come true. To see ALL the tricks done at the Berrics Westchester plaza by ALL its incredible locals makes me insanely happy. To all you Westchester skaters, please comment and tag your clips so we can post.
