Here I am sitting on the plane headed back to LA! just trying o come down off of the night of rushing to get here and almost missing this flight.... I am humbled and grateful to the producers and the heads of the studio at @sonypictures for letting me travel form London to Los angels to mourn the loss of my mentor, hero, big bro and family John Singleton...... I have about 6 days left of filming before I wrap.... Shot a full day and high tailed to the airport and it felt like the doors were held OPEN for me..... Thank you To our genius director Daniel Espinosa, Producer Louise, Lucas and all the AD’s and wardrobe that kept me on my game today.... He was almost moved to the core when I told him I dedicated a whole wing of my house to him.... Told him I would be offended if he ever slept in a hotel in Atlanta again... If I have a mansion YOU have a mansion, if I have a private plane YOU have a private plane..... He’s always been so humble he doesn’t do well with people to do anything for HIM zagged he’s done so much for US..... love you big bro..... It’s going to be a very long and emotional weekend at the same time I’ve learned that you HEAL and get closure when you’re around real ones who REALLY loved the one you lost.......
