Feeling fuzzy today? The white ermine moth (Spilosoma lubricipeda) is! Named for its resemblance to an ermine’s coat, this moth can be found in parts of England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland. It can be spotted in gardens, grasslands, or woodlands, where it likes to feed on herbs such as the common nettle during its caterpillar stage.
