My sister @olivia11_viall recently came out as gay and I couldn’t be more proud of her. I’m just as proud of the love and support that my family has shown her. In my episode of @viallfiles tomorrow, Olivia & my parents join me as we talk about the courage Olivia had to come out at such a young age to a family that has always been traditional and conservative. No matter what, my family has always chosen love and I couldn’t be more proud to be a part of this family. We have all grown together as a family over the years with our beliefs/acceptance of people and ideas we haven’t always understood. I’m particularly proud of my parents who taught us so much but were also willing to learn from their children as we introduced new ideas. We are always growing and always learning. Tomorrow we discuss our family, the importance of learning from one another, and the negative impact shame/guilt can play. I hope you join us.
